Everyone has an off day every once in a while, where they just don’t feel like giving it their all or go into a workout with a pre-existing bad attitude. Well, if Kristie England ever has a day like that she sure doesn’t show it! This girl has been coming to Swink for nearly 3 years now and she has yet to complain. She is always eager to learn new things and better herself. She never makes excuses, and is always willing to go outside her comfort zone….and she does it all with a positive attitude! She is one of our most consistent members, only missing workouts when she absolutely has to! She is a joy to be around, and we would all be better off striving to be a little more like her!
Here’s a little inside look into our May Member of the Month:
“I have been married for 23 years. I have two boys; one is a sophomore in college and the other a freshman in high school.
We have a ranch in Ellis county where we raise black Angus cattle. We also have horses, donkeys and chickens. I have been a stay home mom for the past 18 years, before that I was a Lab technician for a Pathology Lab.”

What’s your favorite thing about Swink?
My favorite thing about Swink is how friendly and welcoming everyone is.
What is your favorite movement?
My favorite movement is a Back Squat.
My least favorite is Pullups.
What’s your favorite Paleo/clean eating meal or snack?
My favorite clean meal is sweet potatoes with turkey sausage.
What’s your favorite cheat meal?
My favorite cheat meal is anything chocolate.
What advice would you give to someone new to Swink?
My advice to someone new to Swink is to stick with it, the workouts are tough but they make it fun!
