It’s sad to say but a lot of new members don’t really “stay with it” for very long because, as we all know, the beginning is the hardest part. Our November member of the month, however, is the exception to that rule. Robert Garza started with us a few months ago and he has shown that with determination and patience, you can and WILL improve drastically. It’s so exciting to see this guy perform now and compare it to when he first started. He knows where his weaknesses are and he attacks them full on, never shying away from something because he’s “not good at it.” We admire his fire and attitude, plus he’s a hoot to workout with! Congratulations buddy!
Well I guess I’m a laid back guy from Texas. I currently build turbines engines in Desoto, and I have a borderline unhealthy addiction to tacos. I joined Swink because I wanted, needed, a challenge, and an outlet. And so far it’s been everything and more. Where else can you go and get quality training with a few good laughs?
What is your favorite think about Swink?
I have to say the people. Such a great environment no matter what time you go.
What’s your favorite movement/workout?
Tough one….I’m gonna say back squat just because I’ve slowly improved. I have a list of things for this one
What’s your least favorite?
By far WallBalls
What’s your favorite clean meal/snack?
Sweet potatoes and almonds
What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Taco’s…its not bad if you like it right?
What advice would you give to someone new to Swink?
Be patient and have fun. Just because you didn’t get it today doesn’t mean it won’t happen, it will….but GOTTA practice.
Oh this bike….everyone’s favorite thing to hate.
